Universal Music Group has removed tracks from its artists, including Swift, Drake and Olivia Rodrigo, from TikTok. This happened after provisions for renewal of licensing agreements fell through.

Now the music of Universal Music Group artists will not be available in old videos on TikTok, and users will not be able to make videos for new songs.

Universal Music Group accused the social network of unfair conditions and declined. A TikTok spokesperson responded by saying the label “puts its own greed above the interests of its artists and songwriters.”
