If you’re in Spain, you can now try the Gemini Pro version of Google Bard. Starting this Thursday, the company is launching the most advanced version of its chatbot in Spain. 40 languages and 230 countries. This new update offers the tool more capabilities for understanding, reasoning, summarizing, and writing code, as well as other benefits.
Bard with Gemini Pro was officially launched last December and we showed you how to use it back then. However, it was only available in English and in fewer countries. In fact, its launch in Spain – and in Spanish – is not a minor detail, given that until now it has not been possible to use the platform in Europe.
Google Bard with Gemini Pro the most powerful free chatbot, according to the Large Model Systems Organization rating, one of the main evaluators of language models. It is second only to GPT-4 Turbo from OpenAI. Google says that in blind tests with third-party testers, the new Bard even outperformed competing paid options.
It’s important to note that Google Bard no longer accepts only text or voice input. Thanks to integration with Gemini Pro, you can now also upload images to interact with the tool. You can ask the chatbot to describe it (which is useful for people with visual impairments), identify objects, or translate text that appears in it.
You can now ask Google Bard to check your answers.

Google also announced an expansion Bard double check feature in over 40 languages. Among them is Spanish. Now, when you click on the “G” icon at the end of each reply, Bard will check to see if there are any posts online that support what he shared with you. If it finds them, the chatbot will highlight some phrases for you and you can go directly to the sources.
“These new features make Bard an even more valuable AI partner at your disposal around the world.” Google announced this in its blog. He emphasized that the goal is for the tool to be so versatile that it can be used in both large creative projects and small everyday tasks.
In December, Google announced that developers could integrate Gemini Pro into Android apps. So they could start developing applications that offer text generation functions, for example.
When Google introduced Gemini, it didn’t just do so with the Pro version that Bard runs on today. There are two more options for the next generation artificial intelligence model: Gemini Nano and Gemini Ultra. The Nano option prioritizes processing efficiency and performing tasks directly from the device, including mobile phones. It’s already being used to power some of the Pixel 8 Pro’s AI features.
Gemini Ultra It’s the most powerful of the three, and Google designed it to solve complex problems. This option will compete with GPT-4 from OpenAI. The company said it will be available from Bard Advanced, a new version of the chatbot will be released early this year. Although he clarified that they are still completing some safety tests.
This option will be available with membership. Developer Dylan Roussel found several messages on the Google Bard website indicating the need for a subscription. There are no pricing details yet, but there are important new features. Among them is Motoko, which will allow you create your own chatbots based on Gemini Ultra.
