This feature was discovered in a leaked Windows Server preview build that was accidentally released to Windows Update servers.
The sudo command in Linux and macOS allows users to modify system files, change system settings, perform updates, and more.
A similar feature will now appear as part of developer options in Windows 11, providing the ability to manage settings that require administrative privileges.
To use the sudo command in Windows 11, you need to enable developer mode, but this function does not yet work in range.
Users will be able to customize the behavior of the sudo command by choosing whether commands are executed in a new window, with input disabled, or inline, which can be useful for quick tasks or working in an integrated development environment (IDE).
