The new research, published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease, was based on data from the Australian Biomarkers and Lifestyle Study. Experts have been monitoring its participants since 2006; especially the development of Alzheimer’s disease in some people.
It was revealed that people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease consume less fruits and vegetables such as oranges, strawberries, avocados, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, cabbage and spinach. They also regularly ate meat pies, sausages, ham, pizza and hamburgers. Wine consumption of participants with Alzheimer’s disease was relatively lower compared to the healthy group.
