Users began to complain about the quality of the screen immediately after purchase, noticing that the image appeared faded.
Samsung initially defended its position, saying the screen was supposed to look like this, but soon promised to release an update with a “brightness slider” to fix the problem.
But the troubles did not end there. As users on Reddit note, the phone’s screen can have a grainy texture or show unsightly horizontal stripes on dark or gray backgrounds, especially in low light.
According to users, this problem was not observed on devices with lower screen resolution of previous generations.
Although these shortcomings do not harm the use of the device, they are concerning considering the smartphone’s $1,300 price tag.
