The release of the long-awaited film “Madame Web”, part of the extended Marvel Cinematic Universe and associated with the latest films about Spider-Man, has taken place.

The Sony studio is responsible for the production of parts. This is the same Sony that made great superhero films with Tom Holland, released a gorgeous animated duology about Spider-Man and fantastic games for the PlayStation.

Sure, Morbius and Venom Company were relatively bad, but they weren’t that connected to the mainline. And everything “spidery” has so far turned out to be tolerable.

In the case of Madame Web, the situation was the opposite – the first viewers literally trashed the film in their reviews.

We have already watched the new product and will hasten to share our impressions. Let’s figure out why this happened.

Everything is bad here. From script to effects

We all remember the wonderful Madame Web from the classic 1994 Peter Parker cartoon. And here we decided to tell how this heroine was born, but in film format.

For what? Who asked for this? Who is this movie for? — no one has an answer to these questions. But oh well, Sony just wanted to raise money at the expense of a famous character, let’s leave it at this point.

What is the movie about: Manhattan nurse Cassandra Webb gives me the ability to see the future and understands that she can use this power to change it. Confronted with the secrets of her past, Cassandra meets girls who are destined to one day become great if they can survive the deadly present together.

Attention: There may be some light spoilers ahead. But we are honest – they are unlikely to spoil your impressions.

So, before us is Cassandra – an ordinary girl who suddenly discovers superpowers of clairvoyance. And from this moment the first problems arise.

The film presents several of the last feminine characters, each of which is represented from its own side. And connects them… Webb’s unconvincing speech that they need to be saved and they need to stick together. Just at a random moment in time. They took it and believed in these words, okay, okay.

The main problem here was, oddly enough, the main character. She was played by the notorious Assistant Dakota. You can argue about her for a long time because of her controversial roles, especially because of “50 Shades of Gray.” The answer was great at emoting and showing it off in “No Good at the El Royale,” but “50 OS” still doesn’t let her go, and it shows to this day.

Either the budget didn’t really suit the actress, or she remembers what was decided – in “Madame Web” we again see ourselves constantly open, without emotional lips and a complete lack of facial expressions. I would describe her image as “stone face man” You don’t believe in what’s happening, or in the motivations of the characters, or in the heroine herself.

The dialogue makes the ears droop, what happens on the screen only tires, and the supervillains appear not just clichéd, but also extremely stupid actions. But there is so much pathos on the screen! The story doesn’t cause anything other than hysterical laughter.

Just think about it: Sims (“glavgad”) watches a vision in which ladies in tights persuade him. And that’s why he wants to kill them first.

And just as stupidly and feignedly, details about the past of Webb’s relatives are revealed. About spider-people, who, it turns out, have been around for quite a long time. Peruvian spiders speak impeccable English, deftly wield everything, and in general almost gave birth to the entire genus of “spiders.”

To give you an idea, Madame Web takes place before the events of Spider-Man. There’s even Ben Parker (the most unknown, but most likely the most). But the connection with the future world is so subtle that it rests on one kind word.

The visuals are not impressive, I wanted to sleep

Excellent mask, the face is “unrecognizable”

Absolutely all the action scenes are staged lazily, and the fights look forced. The final scene is simply on the street, with PepsiCo advertising barely present in every frame. Sony, as we understand, we will not buy.

It seems as if the filmmakers were trying to work off the budget and get out of the film using advertising integrations alone. And what will happen next after the release is no longer so important.

There is a lot of computer graphics in the film, but some elements are not brought to fruition. Only sparks and explosions smooth out the corners, and the rest of the art constantly raises questions because of the category “is there anything natural here at all, other than cardboard decorations?”

The main soundtrack of the film is not impressive either. You forget it immediately after watching it. I can’t even remember the opening notes, the motive disappeared instantly.

Not garbage, but a dump

This is the only way to describe the new “Madame Web.”

This movie was created only to lead to environmental degradation, but even she didn’t decide to watch this product placement (there’s no other way to call the movie). I sincerely wanted to find at least one good picture, but outright hackwork ruined everything.

Don’t watch it, you’ll just waste 2 hours of your life. We don’t miss this kind of movie.
