Adobe has added generative AI PDF Assistant to the Acrobat beta to make it easier to find and understand information in documents.

AI Assistant works in dialogue mode. He analyzes the basic document and, based on it, proposes questions for which he himself is responsible. AI can provide a summary of the entire document and all questions using information from the text.

AI Assistant can also copy and shorten PDF restrictions for sending via email or pasting into a presentation.

Adobe says the chatbot will not store document data and will not use it for training.

AI Assistant is only available to paid Acrobat subscribers in the US. [The Verge]
