Available for pre-sale starting March 15, this collectible sculpture aims to reimagine the creation of sustainable value using recycled materials from Patagonia, Indonesia, China, Thailand, India and Ghana.
The boots use recycled plastic from fishing nets, recycled polypropylene from rope and bottle caps, and recycled fiberglass for durability. In addition, Karün’s tracking and traceability technology, together with Blockchain technology, guarantees certified transparency throughout production, allowing digital carbon marking of each product and interactive tracking of material movements.
Each Lionel Messi exclusive loot collectible includes a digital certificate of authenticity on the blockchain, guaranteeing its legitimacy and originality, backed by Join The Planet.
Proceeds from the sale of this collectible sculpture will go directly to the Join The Planet Foundation, which aims to protect and restore natural ecosystems around the world. The foundation’s first initiative in collaboration with Karun will focus on the cleanup and conservation of the Paraná River in Rosario, Argentina, the hometown of Lionel Messi.
