Anonymous security researchers have published a set of dump files related to the AMD 4800S chip. It is this chip, or rather its modified version, that forms the basis of the Xbox Series X.

By examining the “leak”, experts will be able to find vulnerabilities and ways to bypass the console’s protection. In theory, this makes potential Xbox Series X hacking a more attainable target.

Since PlayStation 5 uses a similar AMD 4700S chip, there is a possibility that this console is now at risk.

It is worth remembering that the BIOS itself does not give hackers all the keys to the console. But this is a serious step: information about the internal structure helps advance the path to a full-fledged hack and opens the door to unwanted actions.
