“Reaction Effects” add another layer of “expression” to your messages. Tap any message (SMS or RCS) and choose a popular emoji like thumbs up, heart, or even poop to see an animation.
The feature currently supports ten emojis: thumbs up, smiley face with tears, surprised face, angry face, pile of poop, etc.
Although users loved the new feature, some expressed a desire to have individual control over “effects”; There is currently no option to turn them off completely.
