The latest version currently being tested has some nice little things that will make drawing easier. For example, Microsoft finally added a slider for brush, pencil, and eraser sizes. No more randomly poking around to choose line thickness.
There are also more options for working with the background. In a few clicks you can change the background color and make it completely transparent if necessary. The developers even added a handy hotkey shortcut to turn the background layer on/off.
Finally, there is a function for copying visible elements from all layers. Select the track you want and press a special key combination. A very useful thing if you often create simple collages in Paint.
