One of the reasons for the failure of PS VR2 is the lack of exciting games. Over the life of the device, Sony released only four games, and the closure of London Studio, which developed VR games, made the situation worse. The lack of backwards compatibility with games on the original PS VR also had a negative impact.

In his review, editor-in-chief Devindra Hardawar rated the PS VR2 84 out of 100, noting concerns about the high price and long-term support. However, Sony plans to expand the audience of the device by offering official support for PC. This can stimulate sales and reduce stock levels. However, dropping the price below $550 may also increase interest in the device.
