Avito has completed the procedure for re-registering a company in Russia. The company “registered” in the “Russian offshore” in the Kaliningrad region. This is the first case of an organization “moving” from Swedish to Russian jurisdiction.

Avito has completed the redomiciliation of the Swedish company Avito AB to Russian jurisdiction. The legal successor of the company will be Avito Finance LLC, Avito’s press service informed RB.RU.
“MKOO Avito Finance entered the structure of the Avito group as a subsidiary of KEKH Ekommerts LLC,” the company said.
Avito Finance was included in the register of participants in a special administrative region, the so-called Russian offshore, in the Kaliningrad region. This is the first case of reregistration of a company from Swedish to Russian jurisdiction.
In October 2022, Kismet Capital Group closed a deal to purchase the Avito service for 151 billion rubles.
