Owners of 13th and 14th generation Intel Core i9 processors for PCs are complaining about their games running Unreal Engine.

In particular, problems are observed with The Finals, Fortnite, Tekken 8, Battlefield 2042, Remnant 2, Lords of the Fallen, Hogwarts Legacy, Falworld, Horizon and Overwatch 2.

Failure can happen in different ways. For example, the game may crash or close with a message, although due to insufficient video card memory, its capacity is sufficient. In some cases, the PC freezes and only a reboot helps.

For now, you can fix the problem by manually lowering the frequencies and suppressing the processor voltage through the BIOS.

Intel is aware of the problem and is already looking into it. Perhaps the company will soon release a patch that will fix all the errors. [The Verge]
