Alexander Ganshin became the general director of the Yandex Traffic Jams service. This follows from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, to which RB.RU drew attention. It also runs the Yandex weather forecast service, a Yandex Weather representative told the publication.

Since December 2022, this position of CEO of Yandex Traffic has been held by Natalia Timofeeva. Changes to Ganshin’s appointment were recorded in the Kontur.Focus system on April 8, 2024. RB.RU sent a request to Yandex, but at the time of publication the company did not respond.
Yandex Traffic was launched in May 2006. Currently the service operates in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkey. Service data is constantly updated, so drivers receive up-to-date information about road congestion.
