Moscow plastic surgery clinic IQ Plastique Timur Khaidarov was banned from performing operations

According to Mash, the ban on operations is related to the work of investigators to identify those responsible for Gavrilov’s death. Searches were carried out at the medical center.

Previously, on February 17, 2024, Piotr Gavrilov, 36, underwent surgery at IQ Plastique; A few days later, on February 20, the man felt unwell and called an ambulance, but refused hospitalization. After this, Gavrilov’s condition worsened, he fell into a coma and died. The preliminary cause of death was sepsis after gastric resection.

The businessman’s relatives are convinced that the man was infected during an operation at IQ Plastique. As it turned out, the operation was performed by surgeon Ilya Elagin. The founder and owner of the clinic, plastic surgeon Timur Khaidarov, spoke about this. At the same time, Khaidarov noted that he felt “fully responsible” for what happened.

According to Mash, the Investigative Committee conducted searches at IQ Plastique and confiscated the necessary documentation. Law enforcement officers interviewed those involved in the operation, including surgeon Elagin. Owner and founder Khaidarov is being examined separately.

The investigation has suspicions that other patients could have suffered from the actions of IQ Plastique employees, Mash notes.

IQ Plastic LLC was registered in 2019. Now the structure is owned equally (50%) by Svetlana Silvashi and Irina Ukhova. At the end of 2023, the company achieved revenue of 718 million rubles, up from 53 million the previous year. Net profit in 2023 amounted to almost 137 million rubles, compared to a loss of 6 million rubles in 2022.
