According to the results of the survey conducted by the National Research University Higher School of Economics, 43% of students already use artificial intelligence technologies in their work, while 30% know generative models but have not used them yet. These data were obtained during a study on students’ interest in modern artificial intelligence.
Many students are willing to trust AI to prepare materials for teachers to review and find useful in sourcing and processing images for class assignments. Popular tools include YandexGPT, Telegram bots with neural networks, and Masterpiece.
However, students are cautious about the information coming from artificial intelligence and prefer to check its accuracy. Educators generally support students’ use of artificial intelligence, although some have voiced criticism. Interestingly, some teachers have also started using neural networks in their work.
