The first additional app store AltStore PAL for iOS has been released.

It only works in the European Union and has a subscription of 1.5 euros per year (plus tax). A subscription is required to pay Apple’s fees for installing application components.

Several warnings appear before installing AltStore PAL. Once the store is installed, users can download apps from it in much the same way as from the App Store.

Topic: A popular emulator of the retro game Delta has appeared on the App Store. Supports NES, Game Boy and Nintendo DS.

In AltStore PAL, the Delta and Clip game emulator and clipboard manager are available for free, which Apple did not miss in the App Store. [The Verge]
