Meta (recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) announced expansions of the built-in impact system and additional reality of Horizon OS. It will be available to third-party hardware manufacturers who want to develop their own headsets.

Horizon OS is a mixed reality operating system created by Meta for its Quest headset. It supports eye, face, hand and body tracking, as well as scene recognition and other features.

Among the first representatives are ASUS ROG and Lenovo. The company also noted that it is developing a version of Meta Quest in partnership with Xbox.
