The Google Gemini app is now compatible with mobile phones running Android 10 and Android 11. The expansion in device support was launched in the AI ​​chatbot’s latest update, users noticed via reports shared on X (formerly Twitter) at the expo last Thursday (25).

By increasing the range of systems compatible with the chatbot, Google is making the tool more accessible and increasing its popularity potential. This way, more people can access AI and enjoy its benefits, intensifying competition with rival solutions such as ChatGPT.

Google Gemini comes to Brazil

The Google Gemini app was launched months ago but only reached Brazil in April. Now Brazilians can download the tool normally from the Play Store; previously it was only possible to install via APK file.

There are minimum requirements to run Gemini: the mobile phone must have 4 GB of RAM or more. Therefore, if you do not have a device that meets these criteria, you cannot download.
