Almost all portable batteries perform terribly. Some are even outrageous. This is not a critical point for an accessory whose task is purely practical.
Another thing is that most super-capacity powerful banks costing up to 5 thousand rubles deceive the buyer with their capacity or power at the ports. This is already a shame.
If I buy a “brick” on the road, then it’s normal, high quality. The Commo brand from Yandex Market released just such a series of Aeon portable batteries this year.
In the end, I tested the top model with 30,000 mAh power and 45 W power. I’ll tell you what’s what later in this review.
All photos in this article were taken on an iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Packaging and accessories
The equipment is standard for Commo, that is, no frills.
The box contains the battery itself, a brief instruction booklet, and a USB-C to USB-C 60 W cable. The cable, unfortunately, is short – only half a meter. Everything is packaged neatly and attractively, like all other products from this brand.
The battery was placed in a box and I needed a little force to remove it.
There is no charger. Commo recommends using any 45W or 65W model with PD 3.0 support. Something simpler and weaker will suit a slightly lower charging speed of a powerful bank.
Taking into account the weight of the device and its small size, using the short included cord to connect other devices, for example, for a charging unit, is not always convenient.
But, on the other hand, I don’t see Commo Aeon analogues in Russia from normal manufacturers with the same capacity, power and workmanship, and with a richer package. That is, complaints about the cord and the lack of a power supply can be attributed to aggressive pricing.

Design, size and weight
The Aeon case is designed in the signature Commo style: as simple as possible, with rounded “brick” corners. Made of matte plastic with soft-touch coating.
The Commo logo is cut out on one side, but nothing on the other. There are 4 dim LED indicators on the side that are located next to the power button.
3 USB ports Available at the end: 2 USB-C and one USB-A. The USB-C ports work reversely, meaning the “can” can be charged from any of them.
Aeon’s weight is 552 grams. This a lot of – more than two iPhone 15 Pro Max. But this is at the same time normal, because with a real, and not “Chinese”, capacity of 30,000 mAh, it simply cannot be otherwise.
Thickness 3.1 cm, height 7.3 cm, width 16 cm. In general, the Aeon language does not switch to a portable name, it is not a powerful bank for every day. It is logical to take it on long trips, and not just wear it on a working day. Although recently this is not a problem for many, especially if you travel by car.

Specifications
This is already possible, but just in case. Commo Aeon Power Bank 45W – external battery with a capacity of 30,000 mAh with 3 USB ports.
Here what are the fast charging standards? recognized by its ports:
▪ teaching staff
▪ PD 3.0 and PD 2.0
▪ KK 3.0 and KK 2.0
▪ AFK
▪ Federal Targeted Program
▪ High voltage SCP
▪ PE 2.0 and PE 1.1
▪ PPCP
In simple words, there are almost all the standard standards for smartphones from different manufacturers.
The layout of power distribution across ports is complex and completely unobvious, since the parameters of the USB-C ports are different. Here are the power supply options each step separatelyin exclusive mode:
► USB-C1 (PD): 5B/3A; 9B/3A; 12B/3A; 15B/3A; 20V/2.25A
► USB-C2 (PD): 5B/3A; 9B/3A; 12B/3A; 15B/3A; 20V/2.25A
► USB-A (KK): 5B/3A; 9B/2A; 12V/1.5A
When connected two devices in USB-C ports food is restored as follows:
► USB-C1: 5B/3A; 9B/2.7A; 12B/2.08A; 15B/1.66A; 20V/1.25A (up to 25W)
► USB-C2: 5B/3A; 9B/2.22A; 12B/1.6A; 15B/1.33A; 20V/1A (up to 20W)
If you take USB-C1 and USB-A portit will be like this:
► USB-C1: 5B/3A; 9B/2.7A; 12B/2.08A; 15B/1.66A; 20V/1.25A (up to 25W)
► USB-A: 5B/3A; 9B/2A; 12V/1.5A
At “duplex” ports USB-C2 and USB-A other layout: 5B/3A, up to 15W each.
Finally, in the absence of all three ports have:
► USB-C1: 5B/3A; 9B/2.7A; 12B/2.08A; 15B/1.66A; 20V/1.25A (up to 25W)
► USB-C2 And USB-A: divide 5V/3A (up to 15W respectively)
I tested several power modes through USB-C testers and verified that the power output was as advertised.
Now try to translate all this into understandable language.
The Commo Aeon can charge two iPhones, two iPads or one MacBook with an M1 chip at the same time, at a performance sufficient to use these devices simultaneously. At the same time charge And apple laptop, And You can still use an iPhone, but at a lower speed.
A good option would be to connect the most demanding device to the first USB-C port, which is located next to USB-A, since it provides maximum performance in the configuration.
Aeon’s capacity is enough to charge a MacBook Air up to three times, an iPhone 15 Pro Max up to 5 times, and an iPad Pro up to 3 times.
Impressions and conclusions
Commo Aeon 30,000 mAh in terms of its characteristics is a strong middle peasant in the world of portable batteries. Among its other advantages, the completely unashamed design of the case stands out. There’s no ugly display, no bright LEDs, no voltage. And this is very good.
The price is also not bad. At the time of writing this review, Aeon costs 4,900 rubles on Yandex Market, which is less than or equal to other powerful banks of comparable characteristics, but from unknown Chinese manufacturers without a meaningful guarantee.
Regarding control, I would like to separately note that in case of any problems with Commo devices, they will replace your device with a new one without any problems. I have already tested their service on myself several times and was satisfied.
As a result, we have an absolutely shameless, even beautiful “can” for use on the road. It’s not a shame to put this one on the table next to Apple devices.
By the way, Commo has Aeon models with lower capacity and power. For example, a version with wireless charging.
