The name of the new feature is “Events”. Any member of any group can create a birthday, meeting or other themed event. And other users will be able to answer whether they will come to this virtual meeting or another event. The entire group will learn about potential participants. An automatic notification will be sent to all participants on the eve of the scheduled event.
Developers are also introducing the “Replies” feature for ad groups. Thanks to the new functionality, administrators will be able to receive feedback from participants. Shoutout groups are a place where you can easily find out everything going on in the community, and this will be protected. Replies are reportedly grouped and minimized so all members can see what other members are sharing in the context of interactions with admins. Reply notifications will be turned off for all users.
