The release was accompanied by a free tech demo demonstrating the capabilities of the updated engine. But according to user reviews, you will need extremely powerful computer hardware to fully reproduce graphics in 4K resolution.

According to YouTube channel MXBenchmarkPC, even a powerful model like the NVIDIA RTX 4080 has difficulties working with the new version of the engine at 4K resolution.

Unreal Engine 5.4’s visuals are certainly impressive, but it requires a significant amount of resources to run smoothly at maximum settings.

In the tests carried out by the author of the channel, the RTX 4080 graphics card at 2K resolution shows 80-90 frames per second, which indicates the presence of some performance reserve.

However, when switched to 4K, performance drops to 50 fps even in relatively quiet scenes.
