While Google offers guidance to developers on the transition, one important feature is missing: the Goals API, which allows users to set daily activity goals in Google Fit. Google promises more details at its I/O event later this month.
Interestingly, Google remains silent on the fate of the Google Fit app, which still runs on Android, Wear OS and even iOS. The app hasn’t received a major update in over a year, and its future looks uncertain.
