What are the differences between Ryzen AI PRO 300 CPUs?

With Zen 5 technology, AMD promises more performance in the battery life of laptops, offering the opportunity to stay away from the outlet for a full day. Also, one of the highlights is the new architecture of the cores. 40% additional performance compared to Intel Core Ultra 7According to the company’s criteria.

AI is also present in the PRO versions as all new processors feature an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) with at least 50 TOPS.

Therefore, all laptops equipped with these CPUs are Copilot+PC certified and can handle rendering and streamlined translation in addition to the Recall technology found in Windows.

Specifications: NPU up to 55 TOPS

Moving on to the technical features, AMD has revealed three CPUs for the new PRO series. The most powerful version is Ryzen AI 9 HX PRO 375Combining Radeon 890M as iGPU that comes with 12 cores and 24 threads, a maximum frequency of 5.1 GHz, 36 MB total cache and 16 CU (Compute Unit).

Coming in second in the power chain, the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 maintains the same number of cores, cache, and frequency but reduces the power of its NPU to 50 TOPS. In contrast, the Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 has only 8 cores, a maximum clock speed of 5 GHz, 24 MB cache, and Radeon 880M as the integrated graphics card.

The red team’s new CPUs also feature five layers of reinforced security to prevent user data leaks or breaches. Since the Ryzen AI PRO 300 is already available for businesses, you’re unlikely to see laptops with these processors at retail.
