This information was confirmed by the analysis company Counterpoint Research, which published a list of the ten best-selling phones.
Although the first three places were taken by iPhone models, Galaxy S24 Ultra managed to take the fifth place in this list with a sales share of 1.9%.
This is a significant improvement from last year, when the best-selling Android device was the affordable Galaxy A13.
The current leader, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, is one of the most expensive Android smartphones on the market, reflecting growing consumer preference for premium models.
Apart from the Ultra version, other Samsung devices also made it into the top 10, including the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A54, which placed sixth and seventh respectively, while the base model Galaxy S24 ranked ninth.
