OpenAI announced the launch of its new GPT-4o language model this Monday (13). The development of the system that brought ChatGPT to life now works with the ability to understand more text, images and audio.
One of the system’s cool new features is the ability to analyze videos in real time. In other words, a user can, for example, turn on their mobile phone’s camera and point to a math problem, so the AI can check whether the calculations have been done correctly.
In this interaction, the person can write on paper and the artificial intelligence can respond whether the calculations are correct or not.
GPT-4o, for example, also received memory advances. With this, it will be possible to continue the conversations previously held to give a sense of continuity in access to generative AI models.
Additionally, the technology promises improvements in image analysis. In other words, users will be able to upload photos and the details of each image will be analyzed by artificial intelligence.
