The equipment developed by Sterlitamak Science and Production Association “Machine Tool Construction” is intended for the processing of parts used in helicopters. The 700V has a robust design, high precision and the ability to process large workpieces weighing up to 1.5 tonnes.

A special feature of the machine is the built-in fire extinguishing system, which is necessary when processing magnesium alloys that can cause ignition of chips. The working area of ​​the equipment is equipped with a gas extinguishing system using safe inert gases.

The development process took eight months and by the end of March the new equipment was successfully tested to meet technical specifications and quality standards.
