Unlike other models, the WashG1 does not use suction, but instead uses two counter-rotating microfiber rollers. These rollers collect both dry and wet debris simultaneously, eliminating the need for pre-cleaning.

WashG1 is equipped with two tanks of 800 ml each for clean and dirty water. During operation, the rollers are supplied with water and moistened for more efficient collection of debris.

Built-in plates attract dirty water, which is then filtered through a mesh and collected in a separate reservoir. The system also includes a removable solid waste tray that can be easily emptied without touching the dirt.

WashG1 has an automatic self-cleaning function that rinses the rollers after use. It is easy to clean as some parts of the device can be washed in the dishwasher.

Dyson claims the WashG1 can clean up to 287 square meters of floor; This is significantly more than previous models such as the V15s Submarine launched last year. The new product will be available in the fall for $700.
