Denon, a well-known audio company, has updated its Denon Home series speakers to include Siri support.
Denon, part of Masimo’s Consumer Audio division, has long competed with giants like Sonos and Bose in the wireless home audio and music streaming space.
The new feature was made available via the U32 firmware update released in December. Users can now control music playback, send smart home commands through Apple Home, and use other Siri features through Denon speakers.
Siri-enabled models include the Denon Home 150, 250, 350, and Soundbar 550, which start at $250.
The speakers also support Amazon Alexa and Apple AirPlay 2, but Siri and Alexa cannot work at the same time; The user needs to choose an assistant.
You also need to have a HomePod or HomePod Mini to process commands on the same Wi-Fi network for Siri to work.
