The French consortium Danone has closed an agreement to sell Russian assets. This is what he said in a statement.
Danone does not provide details of the deal. The company received permission to sell the business in March 2024.
The buyer was Vamin R, which is 99% owned by Mintimer Mingazov’s Vami Tatarstan. He is a member of the board of directors of H&N, which operates 13 Danone factories in Russia.
The foreign assets of the Danone subsidiary were under the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency, but by decree of the President of the Russian Federation in March 2024 they were removed from this management.
