This became known after the device was certified by the Bluetooth SIG. The list of certified models includes SM-Q500, SM-Q501, SM-Q502, SM-Q503, SM-Q505, SM-Q506, SM-Q507, SM-Q508 and SM-Q509, confirming that nine different sizes are available.
It is noteworthy that the SM-Q504 model is missing.
Galaxy Ring will be the first Samsung device to feature the new “SM-Q” series model numbers. Previously, all wearable devices had numbers starting with “SM-R”. For example, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro headphones (SM-R510) and Galaxy Watch 6 (SM-R930).
Galaxy Ring is expected to be introduced in July along with Samsung’s new generation foldable smartphones.
The device promises a lifespan of 5 to 9 days on a single charge and will be equipped with sensors that monitor blood oxygen saturation and sleep quality. In addition, the ring will be able to track the user’s heart rate, steps and physical activity.
