According to Bloomberg, Siri will be able to control certain functions in apps, eliminating the need to manually tap and swipe the screen. The feature will initially be limited to Apple’s own apps and individual teams, but will expand to third-party apps over time.

This major update includes a redesign of the core Siri software using Large Language Models (LLM). In addition to app control, Siri will also be able to perform tasks such as summarizing articles or notes. Additionally, the device will use artificial intelligence to predict user needs and offer assistance in a “proactive” way.
