The first began on September 1, 2023, when the manufacturers of these products began to register in the labeling system. In the next stage, from December 1, 2023, codes appeared on soft drinks in glass containers and polymer containers (excluding juices, nectars, vegetable milks and compotes). Interfax writes about this with reference to the press service of the labeling operator LLC Operator CRPT.
As of June 1, 2024, labeling was extended to this category of products in all types of packaging, as well as to other non-alcoholic beverages (except those to which it previously applied).
It should be noted that the next stage will begin on February 5, 2025; Starting this day, cash registers will automatically block the sale of expired and illegal juices and soft drinks.
Currently, almost 122 thousand participants in the soft drink trade are registered in the “Honest Sign” labeling system, of which there are more than 2 thousand manufacturers and almost the same number of importers.
We previously wrote that Russia will conduct an experiment on the labeling of condoms, fillers and some medical products. This will not lead to its price increase.
