The Last of Us launched with the ultra preset. At 1440p resolution we managed to achieve 79fps (RTX 4070) and 93fps (RX 7900 GRE) on average at 4K – 43fps and 53fps respectively.
Call of Duty Warzone also came with Ultra graphics. The average FPS in this game at 2K was 122 fps (RTX 4070) and 172 fps (RX 7900 GRE), at 4K – 73 and 105 fps respectively.
The average frame rate at 1440p in Alan Wake 2 with the Medium preset was 59 fps (RTX 4070) and 74 fps (RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 32 and 40 fps respectively. With RT + DLSS, the RTX 4070 achieved an average of 51 fps, with RT + DLSS + FG – 82 fps, with RT + FSR – 56 fps.
Starfield was tested on Custom graphics settings. On average in this game at 1440p we managed to get 68 fps (4070) and 86 fps (7900) in 4K – 42 and 55 fps respectively.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released with Ultra High graphics. Average FPS was 107fps at 1440p (with RTX 4070) and 124fps (with RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 63fps and 73fps respectively.
In Resident Evil 4 Remake with High preset, the average frame rate at 1440p was 90 fps (RTX 4070) and 121 fps (RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 48 fps and 70 fps respectively.
Pandora’s Avatar Borders came with a high preset. Average performance in this game was 1440p – 68 fps (RTX 4070) and 78 fps (RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 37 and 42 fps, respectively.
Hogwarts Legacy was running on High graphics settings. The average FPS in it was 1440p – 81 fps (RTX 4070) and 112 fps (RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 45 and 59 fps, respectively.
In Spider Man Miles Morales at 1440p with the Very High preset (with RTX 4070 and RX 7900 GRE), we managed to achieve an average of 113fps and 126fps at 4K – 66 and 76fps respectively. Cyberpunk 2077 came with the Custom preset. Average performance at 1440p was around 72fps (RTX 4070) and 98fps (RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 36 and 49fps respectively. With RT + DLSS, the RTX 4070 achieved an average of 64 fps, with RT + DLSS + FG – 96 fps, with RT + FSR for the RX 7900 GRE – 64 fps.
Days Gone was running at Very High graphics settings. Average FPS in this game at 1440p resolution was 120fps (with RTX 4070) and 137fps (with RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 63fps and 72fps respectively.
God of War came with an ultra preset. The average frame rate at 1440p in this game was 80 fps (RTX 4070) and 105 fps (RX 7900 GRE) at 4K – 54 and 70 fps respectively.
We managed to achieve an average of 77fps and 94fps in A Plague Tale Requiem at 4K – 41 and 51fps with the 1440p high preset (with RTX 4070 and RX 7900 GRE, respectively).
Red Dead Redemption 2 tested with Ultra graphics. In this game, the average FPS at 1440p resolution was 87 fps (RTX 4070) and 106 fps (RX 7900 GRE), while at 4K resolution it was 56 and 69 fps respectively.
Hitman 3 was running on Ultra graphics settings. The average frame rate at 1440p in this game was 121 fps (with the RTX 4070) and 146 fps (with the RX 7900 GRE), compared to 4K – 75 and 111 fps.
Far Cry 6 came with ultra graphics. Average performance in this game was 126 fps (4070) and 146 fps (7900) respectively at 1440p, and 68 and 89 fps at 4K.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider came with the Highest preset. Average performance was at 1440p resolution – 153 fps (RTX 4070) and 180 fps (RX 7900 GRE), at 4K resolution – 79 fps and 92 fps.
In Forza Horizon 5 with the Ultra preset, we managed to achieve averages of 133fps (RTX 4070) and 161fps (RX 7900 GRE) at 4K at 1440p – 97fps and 118fps (RTX 4070 and RX 7900 GRE). ).
RX 7900 GRE was always faster than RTX 4070 (except RT, DLSS, FG, FSR results). Overall, at 1440p the difference between them was 22% (120 fps and 98 fps), and at 4K it was 26% (72 fps and 57 fps).
