Users who installed the KB5037850 update encountered error 0xc0000005, indicating an access violation.

The error occurs immediately after starting the game, which causes the game to crash instantly. Even reinstalling GTA V doesn’t fix the problem – the error persists.

We should point out that, according to the latest data, although the situation occurred with the Windows 11 24H2 LTSC update, it did not occur in the consumer versions of the system.

It’s currently unclear when Microsoft plans to release a patch to fix this issue. Gamers are advised to postpone the upgrade for now or revert to a previous version of Windows 11 if possible.
