The company invited all users to join the Windows Insider program to be among the first to receive the update.

This build will be available in the Beta Preview channel and will provide the opportunity to test the operating system, which will later be released with the stable version number 22H2.

The new version of Windows 10 will continue to receive monthly security updates until October 14, 2025. To get this beta version, users need to enable the appropriate option in the system settings.

Developers say the ability to release test images for the aging system will allow Windows to be improved and new features added. This may be due to Microsoft’s plans to enable paid long-term support for the platform.

It is interesting that according to Valve’s statistics, more than half of gaming PCs are still running Windows 10, which emphasizes the importance of updates for this system.
