OpenAI CTO Mira Murati responded to Ilona Musk’s criticism over the collaboration between Apple and OpenAI.
After the WWDC presentation, Musk said that he would ban all Apple devices from his companies if the new AI service Apple Intelligence is integrated into Apple operating systems.
He also added that “Apple isn’t smart enough to build its own AI” and that it “doesn’t matter what actually happens when it feeds your data to OpenAI.”
At the dinner, Fortuna Murati said that this was just the opinion of the Mask. In reality, everything is different.
This is his opinion. I don’t think so. We care deeply about the privacy of our users and the security of our products.
We retain the opportunity to be more vibrant for the public. The biggest risk is that stakeholders will misunderstand the requirement.
