Artem Degtyarev, co-founder of software developer Dunice LLC (Dunice, Taganrog), left the company, which he continued to lead after selling his stake. Grigory Kocharov of IT integrator IBS, which consolidated 100% of Dunice in February 2022, became the company’s new CEO.

IBS bought the company from Degtyarev, Evgeniy Pyatopal and Sergei Boychenko. Following the deal, Degtyarev, who founded the company in 2013 together with Boychenko, maintained his position as CEO. At the end of 2023, Dunays LLC’s net profit increased by 2.8 times to 73 million rubles, and revenue – by 1.7 times to almost 600 million rubles.

Degtyarev also ceased to be CEO of Dunays Alliance LLC and was headed by Vladimir Gerner; The company was sold together with Dunais.

IBS and Dunais did not respond to RB.RU’s questions about the reasons for the change of CEO. Judging by the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Degtyarev, after leaving Dunice, will focus on projects in the field of preparing schoolchildren for the Unified State Exam. The Examer project, founded by him, generated a net profit of 2.4 million rubles and revenue of 4.3 million rubles at the end of 2023. Degtyarev emerged from the second project, Turbopodgotovki, as owner, but remains general director. The company made a net profit of 103 million rubles in 2023 on revenue of 217.8 million rubles.

With the purchase of Dunais, IBS would expand its portfolio of services in the field of custom development of mobile and web applications and strengthen its presence in the medium-sized business segment. In turn, Dunice gained access to IBS’ customer, production and technological bases.

“The change in ownership will not affect obligations to clients and will not entail changes to the organizational structure. Artem Degtyarev will continue to serve as CEO of the company,” the companies said in February 2022 statements.

Grigory Kocharov, CEO of the IBS group of companies, said the synergy will strengthen the direction of custom development and expand the product portfolio for customers of different sizes.

As Pavel Eideland, managing partner of the development and testing segment at IBS, explained, Dunice sparked interest with its first-class development team.
