The statement filed with the Department of Justice claims that the company hides the conditions for paid cancellation and deliberately makes the process difficult. In addition, Adobe does not announce anywhere the amount of the commission for early cancellation of such a subscription, while “the amount can reach hundreds of dollars.”

To cancel a subscription, the user must go through a complex process that involves a series of pages and pop-ups. Calls to technical support do not help: clients are transferred from one operator to another, and then the connection is completely interrupted, you have to call again and explain the same thing several times.

Adobe is one of the world’s largest developers of graphic design products, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and others.

The company ceased operations in Russia in March 2022; Adobe subsequently began renewing licenses for its products free of charge for users in the Russian Federation.
