According to the publication’s interlocutor, it is an acquisition operation: the company acquired the asset for the specialists developing this project.

Multi-users will be able to upload their data until July 24, 2024, after which it will be deleted. Those who need help can write to a platform representative.

Multi was founded by former Dropbox product manager Alexander Ambirikos and former Google software developer Charlie Ho. Before joining OpenAI, the startup raised $13 million in cash from Greylock, First Round Capital and others.

The Zoom-based platform was developed for large companies with distributed teams. Up to ten people could share their screens at the same time.
