Scammers took over 50 Cent’s X (formerly Twitter) account and Thisis50 site to promote the $GUNIT mecoin. “My Twitter account and Thisis 50.com were hacked. “I have nothing to do with this cryptocurrency,” the rapper said in a post on a social network banned in the Russian Federation. The former praised Twitter for acting quickly to protect his account. “Twitter acted quickly and suspended my account again,” he added.

X account and Thisis50.com are still unavailable.

50 Cent initially claimed that hackers made $300 million in 30 minutes, but later revised that figure to $3 million.
