There were previously rumors that the brightness of the iPhone 16 Pro displays would be improved. According to South Korean publication ETNews, both Pro versions of the new iPhone will get Samsung’s latest displays.

The latest report doesn’t say exactly how much brighter the new displays will be, but a separate leak from May 2024 claimed the iPhone 16 Pro’s brightness would increase to 1,200 nits, up from the 1,000 nits on the iPhone 15 Pro.

Samsung is also reportedly supplying such displays for the Google Pixel 9 series.

Additionally, previous rumors have claimed that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have larger displays than their predecessors, with increases from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches and from 6.69 inches to 6.9 inches, respectively.

The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to be released in September.
