Samsung held a presentation where several new devices were introduced, in addition to the Galaxy Z Flod6 and Z Flip6 smartphones.
Galaxy Watch7 and Watch Ultra
The Galaxy Watch7 comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes. There are two buttons on the side, one of which is orange, which is the power button.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra has a titanium case and comes in a single 47mm size. It’s a very hefty watch, weighing in at 60.5 grams.
Another feature of the Galaxy Watch Ultra is the Quick Button, which is located in the place of the crown, but it is not there. It is just a button.
By default, one press starts the workout, but this action can be changed. Pressing for 5 seconds turns on the SOS signal.
Both models are powered by the 3nm Exynos W1000 processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. The Galaxy Watch Ultra has a new dual-frequency GPS system that provides better navigation in areas with lots of obstacles, such as cities and dense forests.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra also has a 590mAh battery. The company doesn’t specify battery life, but it’s definitely longer than the 300mAh (40mm) and 425mAh (44mm) Galaxy Watch7.
MTS has already opened the prices for pre-ordering the Galaxy Watch7. The 40 mm version costs 25,990 rubles, 44 mm – 28,490 rubles.
There was no word on the sale of the Galaxy Watch Ultra. In the US, these watches cost $650 (57 thousand rubles).
Galaxy Buds3 and 3 Pro
The Galaxy Buds3 and 3 Pro have received a new design. Now they are a bit reminiscent of AirPods.
The Galaxy Buds3 are earbuds, while the 3 Pro are earbuds with rubber ear tips that can be swapped out to fit different ear sizes.
Each headphone has a black strip called Blade Lights that lights up when searching for the headphone, making it easier to find.
Both Japanese models feature an adaptive equalizer, active noise cancellation, and uncompressed audio (24-bit/96 kHz). They also feature IP57 water and dust resistance and a Siren Detect feature that reduces noise cancellation when a siren is detected.
The Galaxy Buds3 Pro can distinguish more sounds and have a transparency mode. In addition, the battery in the Buds3 Pro is 53 mAh, while the Buds3 has 48 mAh. The batteries in the charging cases are the same – 515 mAh.
At MTS, Galaxy Buds3 costs 14,490 rubles, and Buds3 Pro costs 19,990 rubles.
Galaxy Ring
Samsung has unveiled its first smart ring, called the Galaxy Ring.
It can be mental, cardiac and general health. Users of the Samsung Health app will be able to check their heart rate through the ring.
For now, the Galaxy Ring can only record two types of workouts: running and walking.
The Galaxy Ring also has built-in artificial intelligence that can provide personalized healthy lifestyle advice.
To use the Galaxy Ring, you need an Android smartphone and the Samsung Health app. Samsung smartphone owners will be able to control their devices using the Galaxy Ring. For example, you can turn off an alarm by squeezing your fingers twice.
When a user wears the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch at the same time, the Samsung Health app disables some sensors on the Ring to increase battery life by 30%.
The Galaxy Ring will be available in nine sizes, but they are nothing like regular rings, so be sure to check Samsung’s instructions on how to choose the right size before buying.
The ring is made of titanium and is available in three colors: black (matte), silver (matte) and gold (glossy).
It is protected from water and dust according to the IP68 standard. One charge is enough for 7 days. In 30 minutes, the ring is charged by 40%.
The Galaxy Ring comes with a charging case with a built-in 361 mAh battery.
In the US, the ring costs $399 (35 thousand rubles). No additional subscriptions are required after purchase. Sales start on July 24.
