As a result of a prolonged downturn in the digital currency market, the number of active crypto enthusiasts among Bank of America customers fell by more than 50% in May.
The bank reported that in November of last year there were more than a million such clients, and in May their number was reduced to 500 thousand users. The rest feared strong shocks in the market.
The attitude of customers towards cryptocurrencies has also changed. This spring, the number of users reporting a drop in interest in investing in cryptocurrencies increased from 21% to 30%.
