The State Duma proposed introducing taxi benefits for pensioners
As RIA reports, referring to Chernyshov’s appeal, the MP proposes introducing a preferential tariff for pensioners and disabled people “with zero or minimal cost” for one trip per week “within the area of residence.”
The politician plans to use the discounted trip to visit medical institutions, the My Documents and Moscow Longevity centers, as well as branches of the Russian Pension Fund and other social institutions.
The appeals were sent to the CEOs of the aggregators Yandex.Taxi and Citymobil, Alexander Anikin and Maxim Fedorov, respectively.
The State Duma deputy chairman stressed that taxi aggregators “face a lot of complaints about prices. In June this year, Chernyshov contacted the FAS with a request to conduct an inspection of the services in connection with the increase in taxi fares during the rainy season.
