The device apparently has a rather unusual camera setup, with renders provided by Gizmochina showing the entire Pixel 9 series, including its internals.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold has a square camera array with three lenses. The external selfie camera is in the middle of the display, while the internal selfie camera is in the upper-right corner.
We’ve previously seen images of the pink Pixel 9 and now the Pixel 9 Pro Fold leaked. The new photos from NCC give us a full picture of all the models in the series.
Unlike the glossy finish of past Pixel models, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have a matte back that’s reminiscent of the iPhone Pro. The phones also move away from rounded shapes and opt for a more angular design.
One of the innovations will be an increase in charging speed – the Pixel 9 Pro XL supports 35W charging, a slight increase compared to the 30W of the Pixel 8 Pro.
As for the batteries, their capacities remain almost the same. The Pixel 9 is slightly larger than the Pixel 8 and has a 4,558mAh battery. The distribution of batteries in the new series is as follows:
- Pixel 9: 4558mAh
- Pixel 9 Pro: 4558mAh
- Pixel 9 Pro XL: 4942mAh
- Pixel 9 Pro Fold: 4560 mAh (1183 mAh + 3377 mAh)
