As the service message suggests, the packaging of EXXE men’s deodorants and shower gels mimics the design of AXE brand products.

“The similarity consisted of the combination of colours, the same arrangement and style of elements, as well as key designations,” the regulator explains, clarifying that such actions may lead to misuse of the brand’s reputation.

Therefore, the actions of Arvitex LLC are classified as unfair competition. The company is ordered to stop distributing hygiene products in such packages.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service had previously opened a case against Oreo cookie packaging, the agency said in a statement.
