The Internet Development Institute (IRI) has awarded Novosibirsk-based Cyberia Nova (formerly Cyberia Limited) another grant of up to 100 million rubles for the development of add-ons for the computer game “Troubles.” The development period will be one and a half years, Kommersant reported.

The money will be used to expand the educational supplement “Times of Troubles”. The new addition will touch on the history of Nizhny Novgorod and Yaroslavl.

In the spring of 2024, Cyberia Nova released the domestic computer game “Troubles”. It was released on the VK Play platform and can be purchased for 2015 rubles. The development of “Smoot” lasted two years.

More than 500 million rubles were allocated for its creation: in 2022 – 260 million rubles in the form of a grant, in 2023 – another 260 million rubles for development.

The plot of “Time of Troubles” is based on the events of the “Time of Troubles” of the early 17th century. The game is presented in the Action-RPG genre from a third-person perspective.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Smuta’s developer, Cyberia Nova LLC, received revenues of 330 million rubles at the end of 2023 with a net loss of 11.1 million rubles.
