This threatens the leakage of sensitive information, including passport data, real estate and car information, and other personal data.

Therefore, if you refuse to use the number, unlink it from the Government Services portal, online banking and your other accounts. You can change it on the “Government Services” portal in the “Settings and security” section.

“If you no longer have a SIM card in your hands, you have lost it or thrown it away as unnecessary, you will not be able to change the number on the State Services portal on your own. You must contact the MFC,” the Russian Interior Ministry said.

We previously wrote that the Ministry of Digital Development has described as false the information about a possible theft of apartments through Gosuslugi. There is no functionality for the purchase and sale of real estate and the electronic signature required for the transaction cannot be forged.
